Nutrition for the Female Teen Athlete- Plus a review of Xtend BCAA's and Whey Protein Isolate

Full Discloser.

I proudly work with Cellucor, C4 Energy, and Xtend.

I love their products and as an athlete have been using their products for years well before partnering with this brand.
Additionally, this nutritional guide was written separate of the utilization along side these products as part of my Master's of Science in Clinical Nutrition at SCNM. It involves references and information obtained via several studies and the CDC as well as calculations based off of recommended daily amounts for a 16 year old female with the given age, weight, height, and activity level factors in mind.

This being said, adjust as need be and if possible utilize your own calculations when using this menu. Use it as a guide as well as the additional material provided, but if you do use this menu keep in mind, it was not written or intended to be used as an across the board copy paste for every age, weight, goal, or body type.

If you are interested in supplementing with Xtend's BCAA's or one of their flavors of Whey Protein Isolate Protein Powders, or any of the other amazing supplements created by this family of brands, use my code:

This code can be used for multiple purchases across all the brands, it's not just a one time thing! I do get a bit of a commission from it, which helps support me in my continued studies in a small way helps cover my tuition, funds my ability to keep doing research, and continue writing on the various topics you'll find on this blog.
